About Chris Wasielewski, creator of Chloe's Closet
Chris began the "obsession", when she found out she was pregnant with her
first daughter Chloe Frances in 2001. After experimenting with basic
papers, gel pens and LOTS and LOTS of stickers ;) she found that she longed
to create the type of pages she was seeing in the magazines. The inner
supply hoarder emerged. After building a portfolio, making some great
friendships in online communities, and gaining a little scrapper
confidence........ Chris was asked to join the www.rockymountainhobbies.com
design team in 2004. Fortunately Ginger Rohlfs (the wonderful creator of
Gin-X) was also a member of the team , and took notice of some computer
type projects Chris had posted. As the saying goes......... the rest is
history. Chris feels truly blessed to have this opportunity with
Imagination Project, and hopes that others will enjoy her papers that are
inspired by various textiles and patterns.
Whether it's on a shirt hanging in the closet, on the sheets on her bed, or
on a tablecloth brought out for Holiday gatherings.........Chris loves the
inspiration that comes from fabric. She hopes you'll be inspired by her
papers!
Chris lives with her husband Chris, daughter Chloe, and daughter #2 (due in
Nov. 2005) in Elizabeth, Colorado. They have one dog, a Golden Retriever
named Scout. If her husband has his way they'll be adding a horse or two in
the future as well. They moved from the 'burbs to the Country almost 3
years ago now..... and really enjoy the wide open spaces, and slower pace
their new country life has to offer.
